I was lucky enough to get a cancellation. Mark the physiotherapist was very patient, professional and knowledgeable. He gave me lots of tips and instructions what to do exercise wise. It was a very positive experience.he also showed my wife how to do some work on my knee. We both came away feeling valued and positive. The person on reception rang and offered a cancellation and remembered when we checked in. She had a very caring manner.

On 17/4/24 I accompanied my 95 year old mother to D R I - she had been sent there by our GP with chest pains. The Emerg. Dept.reception was very accommodating and sent us immediately to the red waiting room for tests. A VERY caring young Egyptian doctor talked to us and organised appropriate tests. We awaited results. We sat in the red waiting room for 5 hours with 2 or 3 other patients. Medical nursing staff were around performing their duties - a group of 4 rearranged furniture in the waiting room. Nurses sat chatting at the nusing station not seemingly too pressured by patients care. During this time not one nurse spoke or offered my exhausted mother comfort or reassurance! Not one word! No eye contact or recognition of her long wait! After 5 hours I approached the nursing station and asked for help for my wilting mum. Within 10 mins a nurse offered her a sandwich and a bed to rest on. Our doctor arrived with test results and discharged her. After about a 7 hour process I felt terribly disappointed with the nursing staff who had shown so little consideration for this frail old woman.
From Admission to leaving I was treated very well. With explanations given to any questions.
I was also very impressed to the staff treatment of 2 elderly confused patients. They consistently reassured them and saw to their needs no matter how busy they were.
All the nurses were absolutely amazing and so so kind. Holly was especially lovely and amazing at her job. She was so empathetic and knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable and at ease. The ward staff managed my pain and were so attentive.
Seen very promptly and symptoms listened to. Such a shame that an X-ray couldn’t be prescribed following delivery of symptoms and we had to wait further for a doctor to listen to the same symptoms to then prescribe it.
Other than that radiology and then the diagnosis in the children’s ED was fabulous.
What a great team working!
All staff were incredibly kind and supportive. And treated everyone with respect.
I had excellent support from start to finish. The staff at all levels were informative and attentive, from the pre op assessment team to my consultant. I felt safe and secure knowing I was in good hands.
The physician was amazing and was lovely to my baby
